Conserved Peranakan shophouses featuring a mix of Chinese, Malay and Western architecture, along Joo Chiat Road #206647077
Description
Named after a wealthy land-owner and philanthropist, the Joo Chiat enclave has its beginnings in the early 19th century, with coconut plantations dotting the landscape. In February 2011, the National Heritage Board designated Joo Chiat as Singaporeââ¬â¢s first Heritage Town
