Moscow. Kievsky Square. The foundation stone of the monument in honor of the 300th anniversary of the reunification of Ukraine wit #207465245
Description
In the fifties of the twentieth century, the old building between the Kiev railway station and the Moscow River was demolished. On the resulting square in 1954, a square was laid out, in the center of which a foundation stone was installed for the future monument. The inscription on the stone reads: `A monument will be erected here in memory of the 300th anniversary of the reunification of UKRAINE with RUSSIA. 1654-1954.` More than half a century has passed since the foundation stone was laid. The monument itself was never built, and now it is no longer relevant.
