This colorful Temple is also referred to as `Then Tirupati`, which means Southern Tirupati and bestows upon devotees the same benefits as worshiping at Tirupati. It is located on top of a rock covered hill called Tiruvannamalai, about 3 km. from the famous Temple town of Srivilliputtur, in South India. One can approach the holy shrine of Lord Srinivasa by climbing 150 neatly laid out steps, totally covered with asbestos roof as protection from sun and rain.
