Mexico: Palenque mausoleum of Pakal aka Temple of the Inscriptions- burial place of Pacal the Great. One of the best-preserved cities in Mexico. Palenque is a symbol of the mayan culture and the resting place of two of the most famous kings: Pakal and Chan Bahlum, both were sacred people. Pakal for the sprat foot and Bohlum for the six toes and fingers. The treasures from Pakal's tomb are compared to Tutankhamun's discovery. Often the monarch is called ''the Mayan Tut-akh-amon''
