View of the small islet dubbed the Southernmost point of Continental Asia and Palawan Beach, Sentosa, with the Singapore Strait #208118426
Description
Some argue that the statement of having the `Southernmost point in Continental Asia` is not entirely accurate and just a tourist gimmick as Singapore itself is an island. The claim, however, is not totally unfounded, as Sentosa is currently the furthest south on the Asian landmass that one could explore on foot or by car without resorting to a plane or boat transport, from say Northern Europe. The location marker, however, is some distance away from the southern extremity of the island!
