Description
The building was built at the end of 1773 the owner is not known. According to the residents and the Yermolov family Masonic meetings were held here. In the 19th century the owners of the mansion often changed and they often rebuilt the house. It was not rebuilt after 1873. In 1889 the property was bought by N. P. Shubinsky a Moscow lawyer. Since May 15 1970 the Museum-Apartment of M. N. Ermolova has been operating[1]. It contains the things of the actress herself. In 1986 the House-Museum of M. N. Ermolova was established.
