San Juan Bautista church The Church of San Juan Bautista was one of the four churches the Reyes Católicos Catholic Monarchs commanded should be built in Malaga after the conquest of the city, together with the Churches of Los Mártires, Santiago and El Sagrario. It was built in the late fifteenth century in a Gothic architectural style. The church has a basilica floorplan with three naves, open chapels at the side naves and a choir at the far end. It is located in the historic centre of Malaga and is home to the Dolores San Juan archicofradÃÂa ancient brotherhood and the Fusionadas brotherhoods.
