Description
Plaza Mayor is a town square in the spanish city of Segovia. Within Plaza Mayor, you can find several important buildings, such as the Juan Bravo Theatre at the left and the San Miguel Church on the right. The Juan Bravo Theatre is an example of Spanish architecture from the early 20th century. The church of San Miguel is a Catholic parish temple. There already had existed in the time of the repopulation, a primitive Romanesque church of San Miguel located into the space of the present Greater Place. But history tells us that this church was demolished in the year 1532 in order to extend the place and so the start of the construction of the present church, but they reused from the previous temple the Romanesque cover.
