At Rye Lane Chapel, we are a multi-cultural church, whose mission is to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to demonstrate the principles of the Kingdom to meet the primary needs of the people of Peckham and the wider community. At RLC, although our denomination is a Baptist church, we would rather say of ourselves that we are a well established group of committed Christians meeting together, as part of God`s Bible believing and Holy Spirit filled global church. We meet and serve in the community of Peckham, from the distinguished looking building positioned in the centre of Rye Lane, London SE15.We have currently 27 countries represented within RLC, which makes for very interesting worship and rich fellowship. The culture of the church reflects the multi-cultural community in which we live. This is an advantage when it comes to meeting the needs and engaging the community with the Gospel.We would describe ourselves as a very open, friendly and welcoming church. Whatever your background, status or nationality you will always be made to feel welcome.
