Harmworth`s Universal Encyclopedia 1940s.Cade: Lord Saye and Sele brought before Jack Cade, who caused him to be beheaded in Cheapside 1886. Jack Cade d1450 was leader of the Kentish Rebellion during the reign of Henry VI. He declared himself Lord of London, holding the city for about 2 days.
