Detail of La Giralda Tower and Seville Cathedral. The bell tower (La Giralda) was previously a minaret of the Berber Almohad period in Spain. After the town was conquered by Christians, during the Reconquista period, the minaret was transformed and in 1401 became the bell tower of the gothic and baroque Cathedral of Seville.
