Title
Springtime sunset in a blaze of orange colored sky #213845761
Description
Sky turns red at sunset. Red is the widest wavelength on the spectrum, therefore when all of the other visible light waves have ââ¬Åset` the red wavelength still can be seen for a short time. The colors of the sunset result from a phenomenon called scattering. Molecules and small particles in the atmosphere change the direction of light rays, causing them to scatter. Scattering affects the color of light coming from the sky, but the details are determined by the wavelength of the light and the size of the particle.
