The Church of Archangel Michael in c. Utyosovka, built in 1828, is interesting as an example of provincial cult architecture of the late Classicism era. It is located in the center of the village, on an elevated place, on the right bank of the Barysh River. The traditional type of three-part refectory church. It is built of brick on lime mortar, cross masonry, rubble foundation. The walls outside and inside are plastered.The cubic two-light quadrangle of the temple is covered with a 4-tray vault with lucarns. The facades are completed with pediments. The apse is semicircular, the refectory is rectangular, equal in height, with a gable roof. The bell tower, which is square in plan, has been preserved to the height of one tier. The facade decor is characterized by a flat character. The interior decor has not been preserved. Overall dimensions of the building: 23.2 x 9.0 m.
