Boris Bućan Zagreb, March 15, 1947, Croatian artist, painter and graphic designer. his most significant success was the inclusion of Bućan`s poster for Igor Stravinsky`s ballet The Fire of Birds in the exhibition of The Power of Posters, Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 1998. The exhibition presents 250 of the best works created from 1870 to 1998. In addition to being included in the exhibition, Bućan`s poster was on the cover of the exhibition catalog. Bucan`s works are now housed in a number of museums around the world, including the MoMA and the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York; Staatliches Museum für Augewandte Kunst in Munich; State Library of Victoria in Melbourne; Deutsches Plakat Museum in Essen.
