Labu sayong is a black pumpkin -shaped pottery container from Sayong sub -district , a village located 1 kilometer from Kuala Kangsar , Perak in Malaysia . In particular, these products are cultivated by the community of Kampung Kepala Bendang [1] From this village this enterprise originates because of the many sources of raw materials, namely special clay that can be obtained from the village; the labu sayong making enterprise has expanded among the original heirs of this potter to around the villages in the Kuala Kangsar district further from this.
