The main forms of dance are spectacular and theatrical masked dances called cham , performed at tsechus and other religious festivals held throughout Bhutan . those Dancers wear animal masks , knee length yellow skirts and dancing . this dance represents 100 peaceful and wrathful deities . they are catching evil spirit and chasing it away. photo taken in Tamshing Goemba , Bumthang , central Bhutan , Himalayan.
