Description
Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe is a mountain park in Kassel, Germany. Construction began in 1696 and lasted about 150 years. Its area is 2.4 km2, making it one of the largest parks in the world. It grows more than 600 species of trees and other plants from around the world. Popular sights in the park area include waterfalls, fountains, greenhouses full of tropical vegetation and Löwenburg Castle. In 2013, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List
