Description
The Curry Plant is native to the Mediterranean region. It is used as a garden flower, but also beyond that as a spice plant. The strong fragrance of the flowers is reminiscent of curry, it is particularly intense in hot weather. The young leaves and shoot axils are suitable for seasoning rice, sauces and meat dishes, as well as fish and stuffings. Twigs are cooked briefly and removed before serving.
