Description
Ausable Chasm is a sandstone gorge located in Keeseville, New York USA. The Ausable River runs through it, which then empties into Lake Champlain. The gorge is about two miles long, and is a significant tourist attraction in the Adirondacks region of Upstate New York. It is called by some the `Little Grand Canyon of the East` and is fed by the Rainbow Falls at its southern extreme.
