Description
Laser Doppler Imager, a computer device which uses ultrasonic waves/rays to detect blood flow underneath burnt surfaces. In this image a burnt patient is put under LDI machine to assess the depth of burn wounds almost 48 hours after initial injury, showing 3rd-degree/ Full thickness skin/ cutaneous burns to right side of abdomen and extensor/ dorsal surface of right forearm.
