Description
Eternal snow on the northern slope of Elbrus begins at an altitude of 3850 m, on the southern slope the snow line is slightly lower, from 2000 m. The glaciers of Elbrus feed three large rivers that provide water to the irrigation systems of the Stavropol Territory: Baksan, Malka and Kuban.
