White Foxglove Bells #219972107
Description
A vertical spike of white common foxglove blossoms, Digitalis purpurea. The plant produces cardiac glycosides that are used in heart medications. Some folktales say that foxes wear the flowers on their paws to soften their stealthy footsteps. Others say that fairies live inside the blossoms. It is also called witch glove probably because the plant is toxic.
