Description
A new build 3,450sqm. commercial office development located between High Holborn and Stukeley Street, wrapped around the southern flank of the Grade II* Listed former Holborn Town Hall. Large clear span floor plates are arranged on six levels in two wings on either side of a central core linked by glazed walkways. Principal access is through a gateway from High Holborn leading into the private landscaped Dragon Lane covered by a glass canopy. The development was the recipient of a London Borough of Camden Design Award n 2004. Principle access is from High Holborn via the private Dragon Yard, which has been landscaped and covered with a steel and glass canopy. A second entrance is provided from Stukeley Street allowing access to Drury Lane and Covent Garden. Features include full height glazing to ground floor offices on Dragon Yard, a glazed atrium within the reception, and landscaped balconies and roof terrace to Stukeley Street. The project included provision of a new Community Centre for Covent Garden Community Association.
