Display at Vancouver Art Gallery steps as a reminder of the 215 buried bodies of aboriginal children found at the former Kamloops residential school. Residential schools were set up by Canadian government and operated from 1863 to 1998 as part of a colonial program to liquidate Indigenous nations of their histories and culture.
