«rvàgrass, ethana grass, dubo, dog`s tooth grass, Bahama grass, devil`s grass, couch grass, Indian doab, arugampul, grama, wiregrass and scutch grass, is a grass found worldwide. It is native to Europe, Africa, Australia and much of Asia. It has been introduced to the Americas. Although it is not native to Bermuda, it is an abundant invasive species there. In Bermuda it has been known as `crab grass`. According to its medicinal properties, Doob is such a medicine that destroys all the tridoshas, ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹which destroys all the disorders of Vata, Kapha and Pitta and equalizes Vata-Kapha and Pitta. It is especially beneficial in sedative, blood defects, fainting, diarrhoea, hemorrhoids, blood bile, leucorrhoea, miscarriage, abortion, sexual diseases, urinary tract etc. It shows its miraculous effect in anti-inflammatory, blood column, stomach disease, jaundice etc. From the point of view of consumption, 2 teaspoon paste of the root of the carob should be mixed with a cup of water.
