Description
The Portland Mills Covered Bridge is the second oldest covered bridge in Parke County, Indiana. It was built in 1856 by Henry Wolfe in Burr arch truss design. It was moved to its current location at Little Raccoon Creek in Parke County in 1961 to replace the Dooley Station Covered Bridge which was the victim of arson in 1960. Total length: 144.4 feet. Deck width: 13.8 feet
