Description
The unusual carnivorous insectivorous roundleaf sundew plant, Drosera rotundifolia, growing in a patch of sun in a damp spot in the New Jersey Pine Barrens where it is part of the unique and interesting flora. The plant is covered with sticky hairs that trap insects and hold them while the leaves produce enzymes to digest the prey.
