Description
This snack is very popular in the Priangan area, and is sold in various shapes and flavors. This food was quite famous in the 80's. These food ingredients include starch, wheat flour, water, pepper powder, salt, garlic, soybeans, scallions and cooking oil. Along with the times, cireng has been innovated to a variety of flavors that include chicken, beef, sausage, meatballs, to cheese and teriyaki chicken. In fact, innovation is not only in taste but in form, for example, Cimol. Now Cireng is not only found in Priangan, but has spread to almost all corners of the archipelago. Cireng, which used to be generally sold by traders who ride bicycles with Cireng-making equipment on the back of their bicycles, has even become available online cireng.
