The bare trees with their transparent branches practically merge with the cold sky, dissolve in it, in its faint blue. The thin, fragile trunks of birch trees bend from the cold, it seems that they are shaking and freezing very much. Their trunks are covered with frost, especially closer to the ground, the air is clean and transparent. There is not a single bird in the picture, there are no animals, there are not even their traces , as if everything is frozen in a dream. Nature sleeps, and so do all its inhabitants.
