Description
Pictured is the Skydance pedestrian bridge in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Manhattan Road & Bridge Company built the 380-feet long, 192-feet tall, 20-feet wide bridge. The bird sculpture was completed in December 2011, and construction was finished in April 2012. The bridge officially opened on April 23, 2012. It is a truss bridge owned by the City of Oklahoma. It was inspired by Oklahomaââ¬â¢s state bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher, and is also called the Scissortail Bridge.
