Yew gardens at Packwood House #225977998
Description
The yew garden contains over 100 trees and was laid out in the 17th century.It represented the sermon on the mount. Packwood House was restored at the beginning off the 20th century by Graham BaronAsh. It is a timber framed Tudor Manor House. It started as a modest farmhouse in1556. When the house was restored genuine furnishings and timber walls were used from other properties, including from Baddesley Clinton. The great Barn fro the original farm was also restored into a great hal where you can still see the original rood timbers.
