Vintage Lantern With Colorful 'lenses' Stock Photo

This image belongs to my photo series entitled `Old Aesthetics`. These close-up images depict vintage objects from the 20th and in some cases, the 19th centuries. I took the photos in natural light, with shallow DOF, to emphasize texture, materials used to manufacture them, their beauty and aesthetic value.This lantern has holes on its sides, covered by colored glass `lenses` which made the outpouring light colorful. This object served not only as a light source but also as decor, as well as a mood-elevating and health-preserving tool, as one could heat and evaporate essential oils on its top.
