Valle dell’Alpe Santa Caterina Valfurva, below the peaks of Mount Sobretta #227767121
Description
The Alpe valley is the last side of the upper Valfurva, before the road reaches the Gavia pass. It is a short and bright valley, whose furrow descends from the Alpe pass, an easy pass that overlooks the Val di Rezzalo. The waters that descend from the very wide basin of Mount Sobretta, the massive summit of this area m. 3296, flow into the Alpe stream. The area, open and bright, lends itself to various medium-easy excursions, very enjoyable in the summer season. Among these, the most rewarding is the one that touches the highest point in the Alpe lake 2752 m, quietly nestled in a basin at the foot of the Costa Sobretta.
