Altai is beautiful in June. The stormy rivers are still full-flowing and have not entered their banks, and the Katun has not acquired its incomparable blue color. The snow caps of the mountains have not shrunk to summer size, and they shine under the rays of the sun. Alpine meadows can be seen in all their splendor. The young greenery of forests and valleys pleases the eye. Waterfalls are full of water.
