Description
Kiwifruit commonly shortened to kiwi in North America or Chinese gooseberry is the edible berry of several species of woody vines in the genus Actinidia. Native to central and eastern China, kiwifruit can be grown in most temperate climates with adequate summer heat. Golden kiwifruits ââ¬â about the size of a chicken egg ââ¬â provide a rich source of vitamin C and dietary fiber, and are sweeter and more aromatic in flavour compared to the green variety A. deliciosa.
