Chinatown has many streets and even a few alleys that are well known and even the most casual tourist feels comfortable and welcome just walking down the street. One of the lesser known, and for good reason, is Spofford Alley, one of Chinatowns original, less kept streets. Much cleaner and much safer today, one of the historically interesting things about this one little street, Dr. Sun Yat Sen, considered by many to be the father of the Chinese Revolution, had an office here. This is why you still see many Taiwanese flags today. As seen September 2021.
