An assortment of colorful mini snow skin mooncakes on a green serving plate #229884738
Description
A mooncake is a Chinese pastry product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Typical mooncakes are baked round pastries, with a rich thick filling usually made from red bean or lotus seed paste & may contain salted duck egg yolks. Snow skin mooncakes are a more recent variant to cater for changing taste preferences. Non-baked, they are made from glutinous rice crusts with a variety of fillings such as mung bean paste, fruit, green tea, durian, sesame, mango, pomelo, sago and taro among others.
