Description
The iconic Spanish Club etablished in the city of Tampa in 1913 by immigrants from the northwest Spanish province of Asturia. A buff brick and stone building buit in the neoclassical, Renaissance Mediterranean style popular at the time. It became a hub of social activity for the Spanish immigrant population of Ybor City and included a ballroom, meeting rooms, theater, library, and gymnasium, and remains in use today in its urban environment as a popular venue.
