In July 1720, Prince Jozsef Esterhazy made an order for the construction of a hunting lodge from the famous architect Anton Erhardt Martinelli. Construction work proceeded very quickly, and already three months later, a beautiful hunting residence of Prince Esterhazy with 20 rooms was erected, which became the basis for the construction of a huge palace in the future.
