Mašun Masun former hunting castle #230811675
Description
The towers of the former hunting castle stand on the eastern part of the MaÃ
¡un forest port. The original building was built in 1874 for the purposes of forestry staff. Farmers, who thought that the new control would deprive them of their rights to wood in the forests, demolished the above-mentioned building the same year. The house was nevertheless rebuilt, so that in 1875 the forester A. Satran settled in it.In 1888, a nature park was arranged on MaÃ
¡un. The building has experienced several accidents throughout history, including being destroyed by fire in 1919. The rebuilt building became a hunting lodge. In November 1943, the castle was burned down again. Of the entire complex, only two towers, built in a romantic style, have been preserved.
