Description
The red squirrel lives a solitary way of life until the breeding season and usually avoids other squirrels. In the cavities of trees, sometimes on thicker branches, there is an average nest of 25-30 cm, in the shape of a cocoon, formed by moss, leaves, grass and bark. It is able to turn off the body in the shape of a wing, which it uses for longer jumps. There is no territorial and domestic territory of individual individuals overlap considerably.
