Title
Reflections over a drowned forest in Stave Lake, British Columbia. #233280636
Description
The Stave Dam, built in the early part of the 20th century, flooded the Stave River Valley and submerged vast areas of forest. Most of the affected trees were left to die and rot, leaving areas of the subsequent lake filled with their remains, some barely above the water level. These areas are dangerous for incautious boaters.
