Legendary lavender fields, the main attraction of French Provence. Almost the entire countryside of Provence is planted with lavender fields. Lavander belongs to a genus of plants of the family of Lamiaceae or Labiatae. Includes about 47 varieties of lavender, many of them are cultivated in France, thus, each field has its own shade and its own flavor.
