Description
Roselle Hibiscus sabdariffa is a species of Hibiscus native to Africa. It is used for the production of bast fibre, while the red calyces can be infused into a drink rich in vitamin C and anthocyanins, or made into a jam. The leaves are also consumed as a vegetable in some cultures.
