The Duhteva house in Burgas #234430229
Description
The house has an interesting history, intertwined with the biography of Georgi Duhtev - the architect of the Burgas Sea Garden. Born in 1885 in Varna and living in the Euxinograd Palace, where his mother worked, he became a personal scholarship holder of King Ferdidand and graduated from the Institute of Landscaping and Floriculture in Iceburg, Austria. Although he was prepared to manage the park and flower beds of the Euxinograd Palace, he did not stay in Varna. The young scholar wanted to do something completely new and at his insistence he was appointed in 1910 as a manager-gardener at the Municipality of Burgas.
