Road signs, put up to warn drivers to be aware that red squirrels could venture onto the road. This sign, is just outside the village of Garsdale, Cumbria and is surrounded by autumnal foliage and moss covered drystone walls.There are only approximately 15,000 red squirrels in the England but the numbers are beginning to recover in the Yorkshire Dales, hence the warning signs.
