Singapore`s Change Alley takes its name from a similar alleyway in London and was historically a place where locals conducted barter trade with regional sea merchants & Europeans. Raffles Place is the center of the Financial District of Singapore and is located south of the mouth of the Singapore River. It is now the site of a number of major financial institutions and features some of the tallest buildings & landmarks in the city state.
