Description
Fortification and walls in the Spanish town of Ciudad Rodrigo. The city was a strategic point of great importance, hence the existence of a similar defensive system. The walls were built in the 12th century, the bastions, ravelins and moats are from the 16th century and give the fortification that starry profile. On the wall we can see 5 towers and 7 of the 8 gates in its origin, of which the gate of Santiago and Puerta del Sol stand out.
