Citywall Around Ciudad Rodrigo, Spain Royalty-Free Stock Image

Fortification and walls in the Spanish town of Ciudad Rodrigo. The city was a strategic point of great importance, hence the existence of a similar defensive system. The walls were built in the 12th century, the bastions, ravelins and moats are from the 16th century and give the fortification that starry profile.
