Originally known as Wat Khok, Wat Phlapphla Chai is an old Buddhist temple built during the Ayutthaya period, located in Pom Prap Sattru Phai District, Bangkok. It was renamed by King Vajiravudh Rama IV to its current name, which translates to `Victory Pavilion`, a reference to the pavilion built for the king King Rama I inside the temple
